Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Assistant to support our logistics department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of administrative tasks to ensure efficient and timely operations. This role involves organising and maintaining records, scheduling appointments, and acting as a liaison between customers, surveyors, and site teams.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:

Perform general administrative tasks including filing, answering emails and phone calls.

Maintain and organize records of site photos and other documentation.

Arrange site appointments ensuring they are scheduled within the allocated time frame.

Coordinate with customers and surveyors/teams to find mutually convenient times for appointments

Confirm and communicate appointment details to all relevant parties.

Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Ensure clear and timely communication between customers, surveyors, and site teams.

Communicate schedules and any changes to the site teams efficiently.

Monitor and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate any last-minute changes or emergencies.
Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in logistics or office administration are a plus.

Experience: Previous experience in a logistics or administrative role preferred and basic knowledge of construction industry

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
