Financial services company based in Central London, who specialises in providing consumer credit solutions in the UK, is looking for a qualified accountant with project manager experience to manage the delivery of a project from the finance and treasury perspective.

- Location: Central London
- Hybrid working 2/3 days per week office based
- Day Rate : £500 Umbrella
Main Duties:
Project Leadership: Lead day-to-day project operations with a collaborative approach
Plan Delivery: Take charge of delivering comprehensive financial plans.
Team Collaboration: Engage and collaborate with the programme team to resolve finance and treasury issues pro-actively.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement measures to prevent delays and budget overruns.
Stakeholder Communication: Manage and communicate all risks, assumptions, dependencies, and issues with key stakeholders effectively.
Documentation Standards: Ensure all documentation meets audit standards in collaboration with the programme team and other stakeholders.
Skills and Experience required:
- Project/change experience within a regulated financial services organisation
- Understanding of finance processes, risks and controls for mid-size and listed organisations (credit cards preferred)
- Experience and working knowledge of internal control standards and regulatory requirements across financial operations, financial statement close processes and finance IT functions
- Knowledge of test planning & associated documentation
- Experience of dependency mapping
