Our client, Kilbury Construction, who we are delighted to be working with on an exclusive basis, is looking for a driven Contracts Manager with exceptional leaderships skills and strong commercial acumen.

The individual selected for the role of Contracts Manager will report directly to the Managing Director of Kilbury Construction and enjoy a role with a lot of autonomy and variety with a clear development plan.

The role will be very busy and demanding but highly rewarding for the right individual looking to take their career to new heights!

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

  1. Day to day responsibility of major projects up to £1m in value.
  2. Management of sub-contractors and technicians on site.
  3. Planning and coordinating work schedules.
  4. Conducting one to ones with workers and addressing any concerns from the client ensuring solid working relationships.
  5. Management of projects, relationship management and client servicing.
  6. Updating clients regularly and ensuring all information is captured accurately.
  7. Management of database and all administration relating to projects.
  8. Ensuring a robust compliance process is adhered to for all projects and workers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Supervisory or line management experience is essential to be considered for this role.
  2. Significant experience within the construction industry with demonstrable success.
  3. A stable and solid work history.
  4. A proactive, team orientated, positive and helpful individual is required for this role.
  5. Strong organisational skills and people management skills are needed to be successful in this role.
  6. A willingness to own your role, and accountability for a job well done are essential to be successful in this position.
