Day to day of the role:
- Provide Individual Placement and Support (IPS) to assist clients with severe mental health conditions in finding and maintaining competitive employment.
- Collaborate with mental health professionals to integrate employment support with mental health treatment.
- Develop personalized employment plans based on clients' strengths, preferences, and goals.
- Engage with local employers to identify job opportunities and advocate for clients.
- Offer ongoing support to clients and employers to ensure successful job placements and retention.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in employment support and mental health services is essential.
- Access to your own vehicle
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, employers, and mental health teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating a commitment to promoting recovery and empowerment.
