We are seeking a motivated and compassionate IPS Employment Specialist to support individuals with severe mental health conditions in achieving their employment goals. IPS Employment Specialist

Day to day of the role:

  • Provide Individual Placement and Support (IPS) to assist clients with severe mental health conditions in finding and maintaining competitive employment.
  • Collaborate with mental health professionals to integrate employment support with mental health treatment.
  • Develop personalized employment plans based on clients' strengths, preferences, and goals.
  • Engage with local employers to identify job opportunities and advocate for clients.
  • Offer ongoing support to clients and employers to ensure successful job placements and retention.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in employment support and mental health services is essential.
  • Access to your own vehicle
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, employers, and mental health teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating a commitment to promoting recovery and empowerment.
