Sutton Recruitment are accepting applications for a Customer Service Administrator to join a leading global storage solution provider, dedicated to offering innovative and reliable storage options worldwide.

The client allows businesses and consumers to store anything, anywhere, in flexible, safe and responsible ways.

With a legacy dating back to the 1980's, they have revolutionised the global storage industry and evolved into the world's largest family-owned containerised storage solutions company.

An extensive presence spanning 90 countries, offering a comprehensive range of storage options through six distinct brands. From self-storage to temperature-controlled facilities and dry storage, catering to a wide range of industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, and renewable energy.

The Company currently operates globally with 24 sites in the UK with further growth anticipated.

Customer Service Administrator Key Duties:

  • Service and Maintenance Administration
  • Daily follow ups with 3rd party contractors
  • Rental extensions and transport booking amendments
  • Customer courtesy calls and email reminders re rental end periods – this is a major plus for customers who tend to lose sight of contract end dates
  • Invoicing and invoicing queries
  • Credit control support, tracking and adjustments – who hasn't paid and PO alignment for extended hire
  • Credits for hire period misalignment – example collected one day checked into depot the next
  • Alignment of box numbers managing bookings to reflect the type of unit delivered
  • Transport tracking – ETA's and schedule changes
  • Answer incoming calls if not picked up by Sales Team within relevant time frame/number of rings
  • Request credit checks from Finance Team including Sales Team
  • Set up customer accounts from the Account Application Forms on TcRS (internal invoice / inventory / order system ) once approved

Desired Outcome:

  • Streamlined Communication: A Service Administrator can ensure clear and consistent communication between customers and the service team, addressing enquiries promptly and accurately.
  • Efficient Documentation: By managing and organising all necessary paperwork, including service records for the arctic-store brand and export documentation, the Service Administrator helps maintain compliance and reduces delays for a more enhanced feel for the customer journey.
  • Enhanced Customer Experience: By coordinating service schedules and follow-ups, the Service Administrator ensures that customers receive timely updates and support, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Problem Resolution: Acting as a point of contact for customer issues, the Service Administrator can quickly escalate and resolve problems, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Support for Service Manager: By handling administrative tasks, the Service Administrator allows the Service Manager to focus on strategic initiatives and service improvements.
  • Data Management: Keeping accurate records of customer interactions and service history helps in analysing trends and improving service quality.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensuring all F-Gas licences are kept on file and up-to-date reducing the risk of legal issues.
  • Export Paperwork: Completing all export paperwork for any parts that are needed for the fleet.
  • Complete Supplier Evaluation Forms: Manage supplier evaluation forms / questionnaires in collaboration with relevant colleagues.

For you to be successful in this role you will need to be self-motivated to work safely and competently and will have good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with your team colleagues and other members of staff and external parties.

What's On Offer:

  • Working hours: 40 hours per week, permanent contract - 8am until 5pm.
  • Bonus: Company discretion, paid twice annually, after probation.
  • Holidays: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
