Role:
A Thriving Accountancy Firm with a varied client base that provides a high level of support to each company they look after has a new role for a bookkeeper or AAT qualified accountant to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Working as part of a team, on a hybrid basis you will be involved in:
- Bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
- Reconciliations of the main control accounts, including month-end reviews
- Management accounts preparation
- Reviewing client entries and advising of corrections or efficiency improvements
- Providing training to clients on various packages and bookkeeping skills as required
- Preparing, reviewing and filing VAT returns for various VAT schemes

Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience ideally within a UK-based accountancy practice
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience
- Use of Xero, Quickbooks and/or Sage.
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Passionate about great service and client care
