Stonewater are now seeking a Data Engineer to join the Data & Technology team.

As our Data Engineer, you will be responsible for technically delivering the data platform used by Stonewater to deliver analytical and wider data use cases.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders, to ensure delivery meets demand, you will be part of a data capability providing data services to the organisation, ensuring solutions are implemented using best practice architectures and processes. You will be responsible for services including data management, master data, integration, analysis, and advice and ensure the data environment is reliable, secure, cost efficient, and strategically sound.

This role is at the forefront of enabling organisational change, as we evolve as an innovative, digitally focused housing association.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have proven experience in a data delivery role.
  • Have experience of implementing data solutions, using modern technologies and automation methodologies within Azure (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Services, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Factory, Power Platform & Power BI).
  • Be able to demonstrate Microsoft technologies confidently.
  • Have significant knowledge and experience of delivering data models for analytical purposes.
  • Have experience of dimensional modelling and data management techniques.
  • Have excellent delivery skills with a proven track record of delivering large scale change on time and to budget.
  • Be confident in decision making, able to explain processes or choice as needed.

Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references, and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
