NET Recruit is supporting an electrical engineering business search the market for an Electrician in the Southampton and Hampshire area. This business has a few decades of growth and experience behind them and have built themselves a sturdy reputation within the market as a trustworthy partner on a diverse range of projects within the construction industry. This role will mainly focus on the installation of Building Management Systems, working as part of a supportive and wider team to deliver top quality services to the customers of the business. Much of this job will be undertaken on the road, thus applicants must be happy to travel.
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
- Installing control panels
- Doing wiring for units
- Doing point-to-point checks
- Handling final connections
- Any ad-hoc duties as needed by the team
- Delivering high levels of customer service at all times
What you will need to Apply:
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Electrician, with several years of experience and also in possession of an ECS Card and also 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations, and City and Guilds 2360 Electrical Installations. Applicants must have knowledge of IT systems relating to electrical work, and preferably Building Management Systems as well. Good communication skills, specifically in customer service are paramount to success. A strong understanding of electrical theory and regulations are also required.
Applicants must have a driving license to be considered and be able to pass a DBS check.
