Service Delivery Team Manager / Service Delivery Lead - Telecoms

Leeds / (3 to 4 Days Per Week at Home)

Up to £40,000 (negotiable to £45,000) + Benefits

THE COMPANY:
We're exclusively recruiting on behalf of an award-winning Internet Service Provider & Cyber Security business that has a clear growth strategy that truly sets them apart from the other providers within the market.

As the Service Delivery Team Manager / Service Delivery Lead, you'll be responsible leading a multi-discipline project team of 6, ensuring key project milestones and deadlines are met, whilst ensuring agreed SLA's are maintained. In addition, you'll be responsible for strategic planning, collaboration with other departments and ensuring the department is adequately resourced to hit key objectives.

This is a great opportunity for a proficient people leader, with experience within Project Management, Service Delivery or Provisioning in the IT, Telecoms or ISP Industry.

THE SERVICE DELIVERY TEAM MANAGER / SERVICE DELIVERY LEAD ROLE:

  • Responsible for leading, motivating, coaching and developing of a multi-disciplined project team of 6
  • Overseeing the team workload and ensuring all order and delivered in line with agreed SLA's and timescales
  • Conduct regular performance management activities, including one-to-one meetings and performance reviews
  • Liaising with the Sales Manager to gain a deep understanding of orders, forecasts and product demand, to effectively plan the resource of the project, service delivery and provisioning team
  • Streamline processes, identify automation opportunities, enhancing efficiency in order processing and service delivery.
  • Lead and manage large-scale projects and tenders as needed, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects to ensure delivery and alignment with company objectives
  • Manage external contractors to alleviate workload pressures on the project team to ensure delivery of key projects

THE PERSON:

  • Must have experience with a People Leadership Role, in a role such as, Service Delivery Manager / Lead, Provisioning Manager, Project Manager or similar
  • Current experience in either a Telecoms, IT or ISP industry is essential
  • Experience of leading teams and overseeing multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience of Connectivity, Cyber Security, VoIp/Telephony and Hosting, would be a significant advantage
  • Highly organised with excellent time management
  • Prince2 Qualified would be an advantage
