Payroll Assistant £30,000 per annum Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm Grays, Essex

My client, a growing construction company based in Grays, is looking for a Payroll Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. Responsibilities:

  • Approve, extract, and submit weekly C I S timesheets to the payroll company using Chime.
  • Generate weekly reports for each site, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Approve, extract, and submit weekly timesheets for all agency operatives working on site.
  • Enter all invoices on Eque 2, maintaining an organised and efficient system.
  • Work closely with the outsourced payroll company, utilising their portal for seamless collaboration.
  • Process monthly payroll for all PAYE's, ensuring accuracy and timeliness using Sage 50 Payroll.
  • Post Journals for all PAYE Companies on Sage 200, keeping accurate financial records.
  • Process pension for all PAYE's, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Approve and process all LTD invoices at the end of each month.

  • Reliability and discretion are essential due to the sensitive nature of payroll information.
  • You must possess excellent communication skills to effectively prioritise tasks and liaise with colleagues.
