Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and committed Primary School Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing engaging lesson plans, delivering top-quality instruction, and creating a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum
- Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to monitor student progress
- Maintain classroom discipline to ensure a safe and effective learning space
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support student growth
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage students and inspire a love of learning
- Keep accurate and up-to-date student records in accordance with school policies
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents on academic progress and behaviour
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Teaching certification for the appropriate grade level
- Proven experience as a primary school teacher or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of child development and primary education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organisational and classroom management skills
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement
