Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of compliance cases, delivering written consultancy reports, and ensuring internal compliance, including adherence to anti-money laundering regulations.
- Collaborating with a team of Tax & Enquiries Consultants, conducting thorough research, preparing assignments, and compiling reports for clients.
- Providing technical and tactical support to clients, drafting correspondence to HMRC, and offering expert opinions as needed.
- Taking full ownership of case management, including engaging with HMRC to resolve Direct Tax Enquiry cases and participating in Alternate Dispute Resolution meetings.
- Coordinating arrangements and managing cases for Tribunal hearings, potentially offering representation based on your experience.
- Staying up-to-date with Direct Tax areas, keeping abreast of legislative changes and legal developments.
- Reviewing reports and offering second opinions when required, while also contributing content to marketing efforts aimed at promoting our services.
- Travelling from time to time to client premises to conduct, prep for HMRC visit
