Role summary

The successful candidate will be joining a fast-growing organisation. Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, you will lead and manage a team of Warehouse Operatives to make sure incoming as well as outgoing deliveries are managed to the highest standard and in line with procedures, processes and health and safety standards. The role is working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

The following provides an indication of the key responsibilities involved in this role but is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all the duties that you may be required to do.

  • Understand working in a safe and controlled manner, promote and adhere to health and safety standards and policies
  • Support the Management Team with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse
  • Lead a team of warehouse operatives in achieving business targets, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met
  • Develop the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards, whilst fostering a culture of working safely
  • Deep understanding of the operation and all the daily processes needed to operate successfully
  • Ensure the site meets or exceeds its performance targets through;

o Maintain a thorough check of all dispatches and documentation of all Clinisupplies products

o Maintain a regular cycle count of all stored Clinisupplies products including date of expiry

o Make sure that documentation is filed in accordance with agreed practice

o Maintain the warehouse area so they are always kept clean

o Check in all incoming goods received and pick and pack a large daily amount of orders

o Maintain stock to desired levels

o Deliver goods to designated depots/customers as and when requested

  • In-depth control of CAJA UI and functionalities including managing system configurations, users roles and permissions

o Analysing performance dashboard (in Grafana)

o Observe system events which requires manual intervention inside the warehouse

o Warehouse stop/safe mode, troubleshooting for picking stations, floor and shelf sticker issues, solving inventory issues

o Perform TASKS which the system will suggest and open of Zoho support tickets when needed

  • Ensure all routine activities are completed to perform monthly preventive maintenance

o inspect the robots

o cleaning activities

o if needed, to replace basic elements which can be performed without special tools

Experienced Required:

  • Experience of working within a warehouse team leader role
  • Practical engineer /technician experienced in handling electrical/mechanical assemblies
  • Ability to read/interpret electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings
  • Good computer skills, ideally experienced with working on a Linux based OS
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to develop and manage relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to work to deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Well organised, High attention to detail and quality of work
  • Familiar with the operation of forklift trucks in particular with the safe management and use of MHE in a busy warehouse environment

Desirable

  • Previous experience of working within a medical or healthcare industry
  • Experience with Para-CAD software (e-drawing, etc)
  • Previous experience working within a robotic operation, using computers, scanners and put to wall buttons
  • Valid Forklift (Counterbalance/ VNA)
  • Clean driving license
  • Use of SAP ERP system
