Payroll Manager

Are you an experienced Payroll Manager looking to join a dedicated team of professionals where you can add significant value and direction? Our client, a leading FMCG business based in Kingston, Surrey, are actively seeking a Payroll Lead to join them on a permanent basis. You will have the control and management of the payroll department and responsibility for co-ordinating the salary review process. If you are keen to tackle complex issues and provide vital support at senior level this could be the role for you. A competitive salary can be expected depending on your experience and additional perks including bonus and various avenues for internal progression can be expected.

Day to day your duties as Lead will entail:

  • Management of a payroll team of 5
  • Processing payrolls monthly.
  • Manage the payroll systems.
  • Check expenses, labour invoices, rates and timesheets.
  • Administer payroll changes, leavers, new starters and salary reviews.
  • Conduct budgetary and standard cost reporting.
  • Depict labour and department budgets.
  • Provide monthly reporting and analysis.
  • Support and liaise with senior management.

To apply for this role you will need the following skills:

  • Previous experience in a payroll management position.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • A professional payroll qualification.
  • Extensive payroll knowledge and experience of processing large volumes payrolls.
  • Strong audit skills
  • Adaptable to change and work well under pressure
