Full-time - Mon-Fri Day Shift

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our growing business in the food industry. This role is crucial for overseeing our Food Safety and Security, as well as Quality Assurance programs. The successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager and lead a team of Quality & Hygiene Technicians to ensure all guidelines are effectively implemented and adhered to.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Supervise and manage the scheduling, training, and delegation of duties for Quality Assurance and Sanitation Technicians.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient documentation and performance of all Quality Assurance functions.
  • Collaborate with Technicians to manage HACCP deviations and report SOP modifications to the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Oversee raw product inbound inspection and outbound processes.
  • Conduct in-process quality control checks during production.
  • Assist in trending data for various Quality Assurance programs.
  • Perform daily facility walkthroughs to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards, initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Support the Quality Assurance Manager in conducting internal and regulatory agency facility and operational audits.
  • Train staff on equipment calibrations, quality assurance, and preventive maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience working within a food manufacturing environment.
  • A HND/Degree level in Food required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
