Grade 4, £24,294 up to £27,334 per annum pro rata (pay award pending)

37 hours per week, 12-month fixed term contract

As homelessness continues to increase, the numbers of customers requiring temporary accommodation continues to rise.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of working in a hostel or support related background with housing related knowledge and the ability to work with both families and individuals affected by homelessness. You will be responsible for ensuring customers meet conditions of their licence, inducting of residents into temporary accommodation, providing support to create a safe environment such as carrying out routine health and safety checks, monitoring rent/contribution payments towards temporary accommodation and assisting in the booking of temporary accommodation for customers.

Candidates must have experience of working with vulnerable people, handling sensitive issues both on the phone and in person and be able to demonstrate your ability to work with customers and colleagues using your own initiative and as part of a team.

This is a busy and varied post, and the successful candidate will be located at our offices and our family hostel in addition to off site visits required by the role. This will require suitable transport and driving licence.
