Renault Retail Group has a vacancy for an experienced Car Buyer to join our Group's Used Car Buying function.
Operating within funding parameters guidelines, you will be working to balance our generated part exchanges with stock purchases to support the Group's objective of selling used cars and vans at expected volumes and rates.
You will be researching the used car market for price and demand trends, searching for and securing deals for used cars through various sources including Group-approved auctions, internal lines and manufacturer stock, identifying good quality and profitable used cars and vans, working to manufacturer targets and volumes, negotiating for the best deal and margins, and presenting graphs, data and reports to the dealership Used Car Sales Managers and Group Used Car Manager on a regular basis.
You will ideally have recent experience in buying vehicles on behalf of a main dealer.
You will be able to work to targets, have excellent business reporting skills, and a dedication to obtaining the best possible results.
All candidates must hold a full, clean UK Driver's license to be considered for this job.
This role operates Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6pm with one hour lunch break.
In return we offer a basic salary of £30,000 pa, uncapped commission OTE £60,000 pa, a company car from day one, and a tax-efficient car after one month's service.
