Job Title: Plumber
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £18.40 per hour
We are currently looking for an experienced Plumber to join our team.The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Plumbing work in a residential area.
Key responsibilities:
- A good standard of Secondary Education, including Maths and English
- Must have a background in Domestic & Commercial Plumbing and Drainage, preferably with a recognised apprenticeship.
- Extensive and varied post apprenticeship experience in installation, service and maintenance is essential for this role.
- Knowledge of TMV's and Legionella Control preferred.
- Good working knowledge of the requirements of Scottish Health Technical Memoranda would be advantageous.
- City & Guilds, S/NVQ or equivalent qualification with a governing body such as SNIPEF
Requirements:
- Be able to work as part of a team and under your own initiative.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Communication Skillsuilding Management System control equipment.
- Work involves the use of analytical test devices, specialist tools, workshop fixed equipment, portable electrical equipment, welding equipment, emergency generators, medical gas equipment (patient use) suction units, geared drives.
