L&D Business Partner

We are Eden Futures, and we deliver exceptional support services for people aged 18 and over who have learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health and associated complex needs.

Reporting directly to the Head of HR, we are looking for a passionate and experienced L&D Business Partner/L&D Manager to lead our L&D team, playing a key part in shaping and driving our ‘L&D - The Journey' mission.

This role is based at our Regional Office in Newark (NG24 1HD) with some flexibility for home working. This role does attract a car allowance to reflect the travel required to meet the needs of our services.

  • Close collaboration, acting as a trusted partner with our regions and departments to enhance our training programmes and delivery, ensuring they are relevant, engaging, and aligned with our business goals.
  • Reviewing and delivering learning that is not only meaningful but also tailored to meet the needs of our services.
  • Streamlining and amalgamating content that maintains the integrity of learning while increasing efficiency.
  • Transforming course content to make it more engaging and meaningful for all learners.
  • Ensuring our induction and onboarding processes provide a positive and consistent employee experience from day one.

Successful candidates will be required to have a Standard DBS check prior to commencing employment.

Main Responsibilities

  • To deliver our L&D strategy and initiatives across our locations in close collaboration with regions/departments.
  • Continue to evolve our delivery of training and Apprenticeship programmes and actively deliver learning
  • Lead and inspire the L&D team comprising of a team of: x1 Lead Trainer, x2 Trainers (who report to the Lead Trainer), a Care Certificate and Apprenticeship Lead, L&D Coordinator and L&D Administrator.
  • Ensure we are able to effectively evaluate and measure our return.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced L&D professional who can deliver results in a fast-paced, rewarding environment and in a way that inspires others and aligns to our values.

You'll be a natural collaborator who knows how to build true partnerships across our services, and preferably, with an understanding of L&D best practices within our sector. You'll have the ability to use data to support your strategic thinking across learning and our business areas, bringing in new, fresh and innovative ideas.

We are looking for an influencer who is commercial, solutions-focused and wants to make a difference!

You must have:

  • Proven experience in Learning and Development, with a track record of successful programme delivery.
  • Strong experience in designing and delivering training programmes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • A passion for fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
