Description

  • Lead HR strategy within the retail and logistics departments.
  • Align business objectives with employees and management in these departments.
  • Maintain and enhance the organisation's human resources policies, programs, and practices.
  • Oversee employee relations, including managing potential conflicts and implementing resolutions.
  • Coordinate with other department leaders to ensure a cohesive approach to HR across the company.
  • Conduct regular reviews of HR policies and implement changes as required.
  • Advocate for employee rights and needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and company regulations regarding employment.

Profile

A successful Head of People should have:

  • Degree level education, preferably in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar senior HR role within the retail industry.
  • A solid understanding of UK employment law.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on supporting and developing staff.
  • The ability to formulate and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
