The Role

  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing the sales strategy and joint business plans for a small portfolio of strategically important brand owner key accounts within the alcoholic & soft drinks sectors in the UK.
  • To assess growth opportunities, customer/contract profitability and working in partnership with the heads of R&D, NPD, and Operations to drive new product & service introduction, productivity, and quality improvements.
  • To sustain their market leading status by increasing the "Share of Wallet" within the accounts by identifying additional sales/service opportunities to ensure the sales, volume and contract profitability targets are achieved.

The Person

  • A classically trained blue-chip sales professional, with an outstanding track record of success in selling products or services to National/Key Accounts within the Food, Drinks or Packaging sectors.
  • You will be results and relationship driven, highly self-motivated and passionate about sales and professional account management and understand the importance of exceeding customer expectations through exemplary service levels.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Passionate and focused on relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables.
