Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support teachers in delivering high-quality education and provide personalized assistance to students to help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with lesson planning and preparation
- Support students individually or in small groups to enhance their learning
- Help manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Assist with the organization of classroom materials and resources
- Participate in school activities and events
- Provide support for students with special educational needs (SEN)
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic understanding of child development and educational practices
- DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required
