Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour

Reed Tutors are proud to be working with a school in the Rossendale area, providing comprehensive tuition and intervention services for their non-attending students.
We are committed to supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced SEND tutors to join our team.
Tutors will provide one-to-one or small group tuition to students with SEMH and SEND requirements.
Tuition will be taking place at the student's homes or local setting such as libraries. Prior to tuition starting, a thorough Risk Assessment will be conducted to ensure that there are no safeguarding issues or concerns.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience working with SEND and SEMH students
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential
- Strong commitment to supporting students with diverse needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored tuition sessions that meet the individual needs of students
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage and support students
- Track and report on student progress
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals
