As the Finance Director of the business, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all financial aspects of the company. You will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance to the owners and implementing robust financial processes to support their growth and sustainability. This role requires a hands-on approach, as you will be actively involved in day-to-day financial activities, while also leading long-term financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Provide insightful financial reports and metrics to the owners, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Collaborate with the owners to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive growth, efficiency, and profitability.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the financial acumen and skills of the finance team.

Qualifications and Skills:

- ACCA, ACA OR CIMA qualified preferred but qualified by experience considered
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, with a track record of success in financial management and strategic planning.
- Extensive knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial regulations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding company values.
- Experience working in a family-owned business or closely-held company is preferred.
