Project Assistant

We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team as a Project Assistant. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Project manager ensuring their successful implementation. This is a temporary position with a minimum duration of 6 months, offering a competitive salary of £16 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and gather data to support project initiatives and facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Create timelines, milestones, and deliverable to contribute to effective project planning.
  • Provide support in the implementation of projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Diligently maintain project files and progress reports to keep key stakeholders informed.
  • Follow up on the progress of action items and other tasks, reporting to the project manager on a regular basis.
  • Utilise project management software to design and maintain process flows and other project management tools.
  • Lead the scheduling of meetings, conference calls, and project-related events to facilitate collaboration.
  • Assist in the preparation of project presentations and reports for the project manager.
  • Contribute to risk mitigation by identifying, tracking, managing, and resolving potential issues as they arise.
  • Write and distribute project-related communications, including proofreading for accuracy and clarity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective communication processes between project members.
  • Support the project manager with budgeting, expense logging, and financial reporting.
  • Provide general administrative support to the project manager and other team members.
  • Seek opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations for increased efficiency.
  • Support team members in completing their tasks to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes.
  • Apply data analysis techniques and present findings concisely to the project manager.
