We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead in a Residential environment for children. Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care and service.
- Lead and support a team of professionals, allocating roles and tasks to ensure effective operation.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and implement improvements as needed.
- Participate in the recruitment process to build and maintain a robust staff team.
- Provide regular reports on home operations and attend necessary meetings.
- Engage in direct work with children, offering support and therapeutic care.
- Manage the home's premises, ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years' UK experience in residential care for children, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
- A track record of achieving "Good" or "Outstanding" grades in Ofsted inspections.
- Willingness to undergo a robust recruitment process, including references and an enhanced DBS check.
