We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead in a Residential environment for children. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and young people by providing exceptional care and creating a nurturing home environment. You will be working for a leading provider of residential care for children. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care and service.
  • Lead and support a team of professionals, allocating roles and tasks to ensure effective operation.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and implement improvements as needed.
  • Participate in the recruitment process to build and maintain a robust staff team.
  • Provide regular reports on home operations and attend necessary meetings.
  • Engage in direct work with children, offering support and therapeutic care.
  • Manage the home's premises, ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' UK experience in residential care for children, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
  • A track record of achieving "Good" or "Outstanding" grades in Ofsted inspections.
  • Willingness to undergo a robust recruitment process, including references and an enhanced DBS check.
