CRA Legal are recruiting for a modern, forward-thinking law firm due to internal promotions have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced conveyancing professional to join the team.

With offices throughout the East Midlands and extensive knowledge within the firm this is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and ambitious residential conveyancing assistant/paralegal to continue to develop your career.

Our client has strong technology in place to support you in your role and genuine development opportunities for the right person.

If successful, you will perform the following role as a Paralegal

  • Handling new enquiries, taking instruction from prospective clients
  • Screening incoming communications via telephone, email and post
  • Liaising with existing clients, providing updates and requesting required documentation
  • Running a busy caseload, supporting a fee earner, with purchase, sales, mortgage and new build files
  • Handling land registry, title checks, searches, reservations, applications and balances
  • Supporting senior fee earners with administrative duties where required
  • Closing files and ensuring accurate and organised filing
  • Running client reports, supporting with billing, issuing statements and processing information through the case management system

To apply, you will be required to meet the following criteria:

  • 12 months experience in conveyancing
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Excellent attention to detail and client care skills
