Empowering Learning are a market leading education recruitment company. We are working in partnership with a number of large Secondary Academies in Chesterfield who are looking to engage regular General Cover Teachers to support across the whole school. It will be a full time, ongoing position and there will be a requirement to deliver pre-planned lessons in an engaging and constructive manner to achieve the best learning outcomes for students of all abilities.
This is a supply role, however with this schools needs could easily be a full-time cover within one setting, we are seeking an outstanding candidate to represent Empowering Learning as a professional Supply Teacher. The successful candidate can expect to work in challenging and thriving environments, with support from the permanent staff team around them.
The job
- The school is looking for someone who is passionate about teaching and learning.
- To be versatile in your approach and have the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable.
- To provide outstanding teaching for learning which meets the needs?of?all students.
- To provide feedback on each lesson to the absent teacher.
- To support the school?in the implementation?of?agreed whole school policies and initiatives.
The successful candidate will
- Hold a teaching qualification (QTS)
- Have outstanding teaching practice.
- Have a strong background of leading on behaviour.
- Have experience of implementing a range of strategies to raise student behaviour standards, and pastoral care provision with evidence of success.
- Contribution to impact on the quality of learning and teaching and curriculum.
- Have experience of high-quality pupil tracking and feedback practices.
