I am excited to be working with an outstanding legal organisation. They are on the look out for a HR Advisor will work closely with the Senior HR Manager to provide a full HR service to the London Office.
Duties
- Serve as a business partner to the London office, delivering comprehensive HR generalist support.
- Collaborate with the Senior HR Manager to address employee relations issues as they arise.
- Provide operational HR assistance to the Senior HR Manager.
- Oversee the annual appraisal process for business services.
- Conduct interviews for new joiners and departing employees across the office.
- Administer the maternity and paternity process for the London office.
- Support the absence management process, reporting monthly to the Senior HR Manager and developing action plans.
- Manage the recruitment process for lateral hires within support teams, including secretarial and paralegal teams.
- Participate in HR projects as needed.
- Assist with the ongoing implementation of Workday.
- Provide support to other team members as required.
- Help the HR team update policies and procedures to align with current legislation and best practices.
- Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities that reasonably fall within the scope of this position.
- Compile monthly payroll changes and updates.
- Assist in gathering data for internal and external audits.
- Support the end-of-contract reviews for all benefits.
- Handle other ad-hoc payroll-related responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of HR practices, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
- Experience with payroll and benefits processes in previous roles.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive data with a strong understanding of confidentiality.
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and strong follow-through skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay focused in a busy environment.
- Flexible and hands-on attitude, able to respond effectively to rapidly changing circumstances.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams with tight deadlines.
- Creative thinker who offers new ideas and approaches.
- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in IT skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Experience with HR systems is advantageous.
