Position: Remedial Coordinator / Estimator
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £30k - £40k depending on experience

The Role:
- The Remedial Co-Ordinator will work as a key member within the HQ
- You will be responsible for preparing and submitting remedial/repairs work quotations following receipt of the Service Engineer's site visit reports.
- The Remedial Co-Ordinator will ensure that all quotes are produced in a timely manner and are followed-up accordingly, and all materials, labour and plant are organised efficiently.
- You will have a good level of technical understanding and attention to detail that will enable you to understand and support all remedial and small works delivered by the service team.
- Obtaining prices and quotes from suppliers or internal departments to prepare quotes.
- Follow up on the status and progress of the quote with the customers.
- Convert successful quotes into live jobs and manage delivery of work.
- Procurement of all materials, plant and scheduling of labour requirements for fulfillment of work order.
- Monitor service enquiries and aid customers as required.
- Arrange call out assistance.
- Site attendance may be required to support the management of larger remedial works.
- Covering other team member absences.
Requirements:
- Understanding of mechanical/electrical systems.
- Ability to review engineer's site reports, and to produce into quotations ready for submittal to their client's.
- Ability to review customers' enquiries and develop with support of technical colleagues.
- An ability to learn, retain legislative information and identify potential legislative system issues would be advantageous.
- An ability to problem solve, think outside of the box and provide thorough solutions.
- You will have a methodical and practical attitude, and good attention to detail.
- Candidates will be required to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willing to travel when necessary.
- Always aims to deliver great customer service, but you are not afraid to say ‘No' when needed
- Be passionate about buildings and love working with people.
- Valid UK Driving License.
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience of supply chain and customer management software.
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions.
- Excellent customer service and teamwork.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
