Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for an experienced Store Manager for a Client in the Bridgend area.

Permanent position.

As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store operations. Your leadership skills, organisational abilities and strong customer service focus will contribute to the success of the store.

Job role

  • Manage and oversee the daily store operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve any customer complaints.
  • Train and Supervise staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order merchandise as needed.
  • Maintain store appearance and cleanliness.
  • Implement loss prevention measures to minimise theft and shrinkage.
  • Prepare sales reports and analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

Essential experience

  • Previous experience in a retail management role.
  • Strong team management skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and sales reporting.
  • Exceptional phone etiquette communication skills.
  • Ability to sell products effectively and meet sales targets.
  • Multilingual skills would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrate leadership abilities in Managing a team.
  • Proven ability to supervise employees and provide guidance.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday/37 hours a week/8 hours a day.
