**Location: South England
Our client based in the UK is looking for a Project Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the coordination and delivery of various projects that range in value and complexity.
- Ensuring all projects to be undertaken are to an agreed cost, scope, and program.
- Support the SED team in the preparation the Project design and estimate (pre implementation).
- Capable of working on several projects and managing the works awarded to suppliers/subcontractors.
- Provide technical knowledge on the repair, refurbishment, or replacement of equipment and plant.
- Pre-construction process plan - develop, implement, and monitor.
- Attendance of start-up, site visit, and design meetings.
- Management of scope change notices in accordance with the contract requirements (e.g., early warnings and compensation notices).
- Produce information for Project level KPI's.
- Managing project teams (direct and Subcontract) and accountability for project delivery.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Post graduate qualifications in project or business management would be advantageous.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD advantageous.
- Proven experience in a design and build project delivery role.
- Working knowledge of UK construction laws and regulations i.e. NEC 3, CSCS, SMSTS, 18th Edition of BS7671 (Electrical only).
