Working for a small accountancy practice in Tiverton, looking after a variety of clients from sole traders, partnerships, charities and trusts.
Your new role
- Preparation of statutory financial accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.· Communicating with clients to request relevant information· Managing client queries in a timely and professional manner and communicating with HMRC· Liaising directly with clients when preparing management accounts.· Supporting the Associates and Partners with any ad-hoc projects· Managing multiple projects whilst simultaneously working towards continuous monthly deadlines· Maintaining records of client information and interaction on a CRM system (CCH)· Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and internal procedures· Additional work identified as necessary for the operation of the business· Preparation of VAT returns
What you'll need to succeed
You must hold an AAT qualification (min level 3 AAT) and have knowledge of Quickbooks, Sage and/or Xero.
Excellent communication skills, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Flexible working arrangements maybe available after the probationary period.
What you'll get in return
The working hours are 9am to 5pm, you will work with colleagues supporting two partners.
