Greenwell Gleeson is working with a professional services business based in Birmingham to help them recruit an Account Services Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for a team of 6 staff
- Reviewing work performed by other team members
- Appraising your team and feeding back into the director team
- Managing the workflow and portfolio of bookkeeping. VAT and management accounts clients
- Liaison with other departments to support with year-end work/corporation tax/personal tax/audits
- Portfolio of your own clients with some management accounts, VAT returns and attendance at client board meetings to support with advice
- Learning and development on complex VAT areas such as retail scheme, partial exemption, margin scheme, group VAT, duty and export rules
- Liaison with outsourcing team currently in pilot
- Looking at technology and ways of improving the processes
