Our client, an Independent Classic Car Specialist Business based in the Hook / Basingstoke area, is currently looking to recruit a Service / Parts Manager to join their business and drive it forward. You will be a proactive member of our client's management team with responsibility for running an efficient and professional aftersales operation to ensure complete customer satisfaction through the maximum utilisation of workshop facilities.

The successful candidate will live within a reasonable commuting distance of Hampshire / Berkshire and have strong recent or current experience working as a Service or Parts Manager from within the automotive industry. You will need to be effective in managing and supporting colleagues and have the drive and determination to maintain policies that constantly improve customer satisfaction and our client's reputation. You will need to be IT literate and have a UK driving license with minimal points.

Key Responsibilities for the Classic Car Service / Parts Manager:

  • Management of the Technicians in the workshop
  • Schedule and book appointments for customers on the front desk - First point of contact
  • Maintain positive customer relationships to ensure the customer experience
  • Responsible for parts department stock inventory - Keeping up to date

Experience required for the Classic Car Service / Parts Manager:

  • Proven track record as a Service Manager from within an Automotive environment
  • Strong understanding of automotive technology and the industry
  • Organisational and decision making skills
  • Passion for classical cars
