Your Role:
As a key member of their finance team, you will have the opportunity to:
- Prepare Monthly Management Accounts: Including variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and performance reports for our expanding portfolio of subsidiary companies.
- Own Bills of Materials and Routings: Ensure accurate product costings and margin reporting.
- Conduct Supply Chain Reporting and Supplier Analysis: Track cost savings and optimise supplier relationships.
- Perform Stock Analysis: Monitor obsolete, negative, and slow-moving stock to maximise efficiency.
- Develop and Maintain KPI Data: Collaborate with the finance team to support business goals.
- Manage Project Costing: Oversee financial aspects of projects for subsidiary companies.
- Monitor New Product Development Projects: Ensure financial tracking of innovative initiatives.
- Support R&D Tax Claims: Assist tax advisors in securing valuable R&D credits.
- Contribute to Budgeting and Forecasting: Aid in the production of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Drive Process Improvements: Enhance efficiencies within the finance function through innovative solutions.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active studier within CIMA, ACCA or ACA
- A background within manufacturing
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
