Operations Coordinator
to join a historic manufacturing company in the Newbury area. This organisation is steeped in history and supply some of the world's leading Aerospace, Automotive and F1 companies which are also household names. They now seek an
Operations Coordinator
to coordinate Goods In, Goods Out, Stock Control & Customer order communication. This is a busy and varied role which covers warehousing, stock control and customer order communication.
Typical duties include:
- loading / unloading vehicles.
- updating internal systems.
- arranging external shipping.
- operating a forklift.
- operating crane beneficial (Training can be provided).
- coordinating shipping material with production.
- updating stock levels.
- ordering material when required.
- managing material stores (consumables).
- PPE ordering and control.
- generating WIP lists.
- communicating with customers in regards of material coming in and out.
- Purchase order reception and processing.
The successful Operations Coordinator will need experience in a similar warehouse, operations or stores coordination role. You will have a Counterbalance Forklift Licence, good IT skills including MS Office, good problem-solving skills, and a general interest in manufacturing would also be really beneficial.
