We are seeking a passionate and driven Community Sport & Wellbeing Coordinator to design, deliver, and manage inclusive sport and wellbeing sessions that empower individuals and promote positive mental and physical health.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Design and deliver engaging sport and wellbeing sessions tailored to the needs of diverse and vulnerable communities.
  • Manage projects and events, ensuring they are executed to the highest standards and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, partners, and volunteers to create supportive networks.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of activities, providing reports and insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and safeguarding requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with vulnerable and diverse communities.
  • Strong background in safeguarding and health & safety.
  • Experience in delivering sport/physical activity sessions.
  • Proven ability to motivate and empower individuals.
  • Skilled in building partnerships and managing volunteers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Tech-savvy with good computer literacy.
  • Personal or professional understanding of mental health and wellbeing.
  • Full, valid driving licence is essential.
