About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Billing Manager to join a leading company in the communications industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee Telecom and Mobile Billing Operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Billing Operations Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end Telecom billing process using the aBillity billing platform.
  • Ensure timely and accurate generation of invoices for all Telecom services.
  • Maintain data in the billing system to align with business needs.
  • Monitor customer usage and manage CDR imports for billing suppliers.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyse billing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Prepare monthly reports and enhance current reporting methodologies.

Customer Support:

  • Address and resolve customer billing enquiries and disputes promptly.
  • Collaborate with sales and support teams to ensure a seamless billing

experience.

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective

communication.

Compliance and Audit:

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Implement billing controls to prevent errors and fraud.
  • Review and standardise existing processes to enhance efficiency.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of billing specialists, providing training and support.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Work with Finance and Credit Control teams to streamline invoicing and

collections.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Telecom industry.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with a focus on efficiency.
  • Confident and innovative, yet calm under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the aBillity billing system is desirable.
