We're looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Mortgage Advisor, working in partnership with a leading estate agency in Cardiff. Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand the mortgage market, products, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in providing tailored mortgage advice and solutions to clients referred by the estate agency.
- Support senior advisors in managing client relationships and mortgage applications.
- Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their financial needs and goals.
- Assist in researching and recommending suitable mortgage products.
- Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and estate agents to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
- Provide ongoing communication and updates to clients throughout the mortgage application process.
- Work towards meeting and exceeding sales targets and performance goals.
Requirements:
- CeMAP 1 qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
- Previous sales experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
- Clean credit history.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong desire to learn and develop within the mortgage industry.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary and Benefits:
- Basic salary up to £29,000, including car allowance and financial guarantees for the first 5 months.
- OTE of £45,000 - £50,000.
