What you'll do:

As a Finance Analyst, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the robustness of our client's financial, reporting, operational, and compliance controls. You will be responsible for testing these controls in line with an approved plan, documenting your work meticulously. Your excellent communication skills will come into play as you present your findings to key stakeholders. With a keen eye for improvement, you will review current processes and make recommendations for enhancements. Monitoring the progress of these recommendations and reporting on their completion will also fall under your remit. Additionally, you will lend your expertise to various Controls Team projects and support the rollout of the internal control framework.

  • Test the design and effectiveness of controls in line with the approved testing plan
  • Document the controls testing work
  • Present and discuss controls testing results to key stakeholders
  • Review current processes to recommend controls improvements with the support of the Group Control Accountants
  • Monitor and report on recommendation completion
  • Support Controls Team projects as required
  • Support the rollout of the internal control framework

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Analyst role is a motivated self-starter with a relevant degree or equivalent experience. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will enable you to effectively present findings and engage with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical skills are essential for this role, along with meticulous attention to detail. An enthusiastic approach to learning new information is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Access, and PowerPoint is required. Importantly, you should have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
