Our client offer a range of property loans designed for commercial borrowers, such as professional landlords/property investors and property developers. Such clients have access to up to £50m+ in funding for short term property loans such as bridging finance and development exits, as well as access to commercial term & BTL products to support landlord portfolio growth.
Due to their innovative range of loans and a solution based approach to lending they are growing at an incredible rate. They are targeting a £5bn loan book in due course, which will be driven by c£2bn in new lending in the current financial year.
Due to this growth they are keen to grow their Product Management team with the addition of a diligent, hardworking & highly organised Power BI Data Analyst.
Power BI /Market Data Analyst
The purpose of the Market & Data Analyst role is to design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:
Power BI Report Development
- Develops, publish, and schedule interactive Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
- Document processes, models, designs, and solutions, and ensure availability of these documents to all relevant stakeholders.
ETL & Data Management:
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into Power BI.
- Contribute to data warehouse strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Analytical Insights
- Deliver both forward looking and retrospective analytical insight into lending (products, customer segments, criteria utilised, risk metrics, targets, mix etc).
- Identify weaknesses, risks, and opportunities, and present data-driven recommendations to management to support business cases.
Compliance & Funder Reporting
- Work closely with Compliance and Funding teams to ensure we adhere and report on funding line eligibility, loan book attributes, underwriting pipeline, and loan concentrations.
- Ensure data is 100% accurate and delivered on time
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data visualisation, and experience in handling large datasets. Our client is looking for looking for an Excel and Power B.I. allrounder to obtain and model data into actionable insights to make real change. In addition, they will work with clients main funders analyst team to exchange data, work with third parties to accurately represent our products, and have the drive to develop data warehouses to provide regular MI.

Our client are ideally looking to pay up to c£50-60k (plus annual bonus) for the incoming individual, though higher offers may be considered for exceptional experience or talent. All offers will be relevant to experience.
This role would be based in our clients fantastic Mayfair offices Monday - Friday. This is critical to due to the growth plans & collaboration within the team and across departments.
