Page Personnel is working with a highly reputable business based in Whiteley, Fareham who is looking for a Part Qualified Financial Accountant to join their accountancy team on a 9 month contract starting ASAP. The role is mostly a stand alone position within a wider team. You will be required to go to the office 3 times per week.

Description
As the Part Qualified Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Producing financial statements
- Being the main point of contact for audit queries
- Support audit and board sign off of financial statements
- Provide accounting reminders as deadlines approach
- Support business transactions
- Produce and submit board packs (balance sheet, P&L and analysis)
- Maintain tax compliance and reporting
Profile
In order to be considered for the Part Qualified Financial Accountant, you must:
- Part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Experience or exposure to a financial management environment or similar
- Financial accounting and preparation of simple financial statements
- Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP principles
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software
- Understanding of controls in a financial reporting context
