INTRO

We are looking for a HR Delivery Assistant to join the HR Delivery Team. The position is full time. We are looking for someone to work across our different workstreams flexing and flowing to the work as required.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The HR Delivery Team are part of the wider People Services team. We manage key people processes and you will be able to gain experience across a range of HR workstreams, including Right To Work, Data Subject Access Requests, Colleague Discount, Maternity, Loyalty Awards, Death in Service and Relocation.

The HR Delivery Assistant reports into one of the HR Delivery Managers.

Duties include:

  • Fulfilling Data Subject Access Requests within UK GDPR requirements and ensuring Right To Work requirements are met within Home Office stipulations.
  • Becoming a subject matter expert in the field of right to work/migrant workers and Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR).
  • Keeping abreast of changes to Home Office/Immigration policy and guidance, and GDPR legislation/ICO requirements.
  • Managing the wide range of queries across all workstreams coming into our dedicated inboxes and over the phone within our agreed SLAs.
  • Supporting across all workstreams with activities such as document redaction, report checking, prepping correspondence.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders including line managers, HR Business Partners, Zellis, Recruitment Teams, RSC and Legal to ensure we can provide the relevant benefits to colleagues in a timely manner, as well as remaining compliant with legislation.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

  • Ability to plan while also responding to in the moment delivery requirements, with excellent organisation and planning skills.
  • Ability to work across several different subject areas and take a flexible approach to teamwork and juggling different priorities.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills.
  • Attention to detail, even when working at pace.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways for processes to be improved – whether that's a better experience for our stakeholders, or a system change to make our ways of working more efficient.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU ALSO HAVE

  • Ideally you will have knowledge of Boots HR policies and processes, and/or knowledge of GDPR statutory requirements or Right to Work Legislation in the UK.
