Trinity House Group are looking to recruit a Business Intelligence Developer for a commercially minded business based in Birmingham City Centre. 3 years ago they formed a new Data & Analytics team which has unrivalled engagement and buy in of key stakeholders, as a result they have witnessed exponential growth in demand for Data as a service.
This position will support the drive and delivery of a large-scale data strategy by developing new data, analytics and business intelligence capabilities throughout the business. Tech wise, their stack is built on Microsoft Azure and SQL, with the creation of a PowerBI over the top.
This is a 360-degree data role and therefore requires someone who has experience in both data engineering and data visualisation.
They can offer a remote set up, with options for condensed and flexible working hours with occasional visits to their site in central Birmingham.
Business Intelligence Developer role
- Gathering of requirements from key stakeholders and the creation of user stories.
- Responsibility for the development and implementation of new data products.
- Assist the wider team in ensuring the data landscape is scalable for both Power BI development and the building of department specific data models.
Business Intelligence Developer Requirements
- An expert in data modelling and data visualisation.
- Proficient in data management concepts - discovery, modelling, development and visualisation testing.
- Experienced in Microsoft Azure, SQL and PowerBI.
- Previous experience in a regulated industry would be beneficial however not essential.
Business Intelligence Developer Package
- The salary on offer is £55,000 - £65,000 per year, though this is negotiable dependent on experience.
