Warehouse Operative (Manufacturing Room)
Location: Waltham Cross, Herts
Salary: £26,416pa
Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week (excluding breaks)
Shifts: 7am-4pm. Tuesday, Thursday to Sunday
Shoal is a subsidiary of Reynolds Catering Supplies that deliver new standards of freshness, convenience and quality for the fish and seafood industry, Supplying 5-star hotels and Michelin star chefs across the UK.
The role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled, dynamic and forward thinking, person to join our fish packaging operation in assisting in our manufacturing room located in Waltham cross.
Key Responsibilities of each role:
- Assist in the vacuum packing of all fish products produced.
- Carry out a variety of cleaning duties as required.
- Minimising wastage
- Printing labels
- Remove and stock in the fish in the freezer
- Defrost and repack
- Good IT skills
- Always comply with the food and hygiene requirements
- Attention to detail and accuracy with all tasks.
- Maintain the pace and standards of performance within the factory environment.
- Be responsible for maintaining all legalities, Health & Safety and HACCP control within the department in accordance with Company policy and strict legal guidelines.
- Please note the role requires you to work in an ambient and chilled environment of a temperature of 3°c - 5°c, but not to worry – we will provide you with the necessary uniform, PPE, and equipment to keep you warm!
The successful candidate will possess the below skills, experience, and qualities:
- Previous Warehouse experience is essential
- Previous production/manufacturing experience is essential.
- The ability to work methodically and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to load and unload goods (manual handling).
