Our client, a multi-site manufacturing business, seek to appoint a Management Accountant to their senior team. Reporting in to the Financial Director you will be responsible for financial accounting, reporting and control activities in a relatively standard Management Accountant role. You will be heavily involved in producing the monthly management accounts alongside other financial / forecasting duties for multiple companies within the group. As Management Accountant you need to have a recognised qualification and at least two years post qualification experience.

- Preparation of monthly management accounts, alongside timely and accurate preparation of month end P&L
- Balance sheet reconciliations and reporting
- UK and EU VAT reconciliation and submission
- Support in the preparation of annual financial budgets and forecasts
- Working closely with and supporting the Finance Director
- Ad-hoc project work
- Assist with year end audit procedures

- An appropriate qualification: ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CIPFA
- Able to demonstrate previous management experience from at least two years' post qualification experience
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- IT literate with excellent Excel skills
- Experience with SAGE
