his temporary role is part-time, lasting for four weeks with a starting date of July 21, 2024, with possibility of extension for a further 4 weeks. The hourly rate for this position is £12.55. It is a part-time role of 21 hours per week and you can work the 21 hours whichever days you want to. It is a home-working role.

Our client, a prominent charity in the UK, is seeking an enthusiastic Administrator to provide essential support to their National Marketing (Fundraising) department. This is an excellent chance to contribute to a meaningful cause and gain valuable experience in the charity sector.

  • As the Administrator, you will be a key point of contact for supporter enquiries, delivering exceptional customer service through phone, email, and mail correspondence.
  • You will work closely with Senior Marketing Managers and Marketing Managers/Executives to assist in the execution of National Marketing campaigns. This will involve tasks such as data checking, data delivery, artwork checking, basic copywriting, briefings, and coordination with external suppliers.
  • Your role will also involve maintaining strong working relationships with key departments such as the Fundraising Support Centre and Supporter Donations Team.
  • You will be responsible for coding invoices, updating expenditure and supporter databases, and providing regular email updates on National Marketing activity and performance to internal stakeholders.
  • Additionally, you will contribute to the creation and updating of central team documents, including trackers for performance, expenditure, trends, and team costs.

In this dynamic role, you will support the Head of National Marketing Fundraising in organising and delivering meetings, away days, and team events. You will also collaborate with the Marketing team to deliver social media activities aimed at engaging and retaining supporters. It is essential that you stay up to date with relevant regulations and adhere to the organisation's policies, particularly those concerning Data Protection and Institute of Fundraising guidelines.

To excel in this position, you should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, previous administrative experience, and a customer-focused approach. Proficiency in standard IT office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic use of customer databases is required. Your ability to successfully liaise with internal and external stakeholders to achieve team goals will be highly valued.
