Hamilton Woods Associates are working with a Bradford based charity that is looking for a Family Support Worker to support single parent families. The role is initially offered on a temporary basis with scope to become permanent.
Responsibilities of the Family Support Worker include:
- Working with single parents with one or more children
- Providing housing related support and intensive housing management to ex-offenders
- Managing referrals and conducting needs and risk assessments
- Key working service users 2-3 times per week at their properties across Bradford
- Fostering joint working with other agencies and services to provide holistic support
- Providing practical help and support to service users
- Updating the organisations housing management system with all contacts, support plans and risk assessments
Essential criteria of the Family Support Worker include:
- Enhanced DBS
- Experience within a similar supported living environment
- UK driving license and access to own vehicle
