Job title: Warehouse Operative
Job type: Temporary - Ongoing
Location: Trafford Park, M17 1QD
Shifts:
Days: 0600 - 1400 / 1400 - 2200 (Monday to Friday)
Nights: 2200 - 0600 (Sunday to Thursday)
Pay Rate:
Day shift: £13.74 per hour
Night Shift: £14.94 per hour
Overtime pay rate: Overtime day shift: 17.93 per hour, night shift: 23.90 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing products in a fast paced distribution environment
- Checking documentation to ensure that product is packed in line with customer specifications
- Completing Health & Safety checks in line with company procedure
- Identifying, highlighting and escalating any product issues (including damaged or missing items) by following the site procedures and reporting to the team leader
- Delivering and maintaining both individual and team targets to satisfy customer demand
- Ensure all working processes conform to current quality standards
- Manual handling
Required qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role or similar is desirable but not essential
- High attention to detail
- Manual dexterity
- Close inspection is a requirement for the day-to-day role
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Good written and spoken English and basic numeracy skills
